Following my previous obsessions with Meat Free Mondays (something that I should probably start doing again) and Make-up Free Mondays (something I cannot do anymore…work!), I’ve created “Meeting Free Mondays” for myself.
Mondays are normally crazy busy and there are always things coming up that you didn’t plan for or anticipate. Besides that, I’m left with a few “To Do’s” from my Friday-list of the previous week and that alone has the admin bucket full on most Mondays.
I’ve found that scheduling meetings on Mondays makes me much less productive through the rest of the week. It’s almost like making a mountain out of a molehill?
Instead, on Mondays I focus on finishing off what rolled over from last week, plan my new week properly and also to give attention to whatever issues may have arose over the weekend in terms of our household as well as orders that have come in.
Although I’ve not yet nailed this goal/ vision/ idea I have of myself being completely organized and extremely productive all the time, certain little hacks (like my Meeting Free Mondays) help me feel like I’m getting there quicker.
